Coaching & Consulting
Coaching:
Whether you are auditioning or preparing for a stage or on-camera project; auditioning for an undergraduate or graduate program; or simply wanting to work on a monologue or scene, I have experience working with actors at the professional, college, high school and middle school levels. My goal is to establish a working environment of trust where actors not only have faith in the guidance they receive but also trust in themselves and their preparation when doing the work. In addition to script and character analysis, there is a strong focus on the actor's personalization of the work. I share proven tools and methods that empower the actor to invest themselves more fully in their work, making it not only more engaging for them but for the viewer as well.
Consultations:
I work with actors to assess where they are in their training or career and where they would like to be. From there we would set realistic goals and outline a path to achieve those goals. This may involve defining the actor's type for casting purposes, preparing for a headshot shoot, marketing themselves to agents and preparing for agent meetings, exploring options for continued training, or the demanding preparation of moving to a new market.
No matter what your interest is in advancing your work as an actor know that I have over 25 years experience as a professional actor on stage, in front of a camera and in the booth, in a highly competitive marketplace. My goal is to apply that experience and insight to help you move your career forward.
